Marianas Festival 2026
The Marianas Alliance for Growth of Islanders (MÅGI) welcomes you to the third annual Marianas Festival—a celebration of the rich heritage and vibrant traditions of the people of the Marianas! Maila' Mågi!
This is a three-day experience! Kick things off with our Pre-Show Concert on Day 1, enjoy hands-on, interactive workshops at Heritage High School on Day 2, and join us for the main festival on Day 3 at Blue Lake Regional Park. This is an outdoor event happening rain or shine!

FESTIVAL

NO PETS (neither in vehicle nor on leash). ONLY service animals are allowed in Metro parks, including Blue Lake, under ADA laws. Service animals need to be leashed and under the control of their handler at all times.

ALCOHOL only in designated beer garden ONLY. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL.

PARKING PASSES must be displayed by all vehicles. Please bring CASH (exact change) to help with the flow of traffic.

Personal coolers, pop up tents, tables, food including potluck items and BBQ pits are NOT ALLOWED. There will be plenty of paid vendors with exclusive rights to operate and sell their delicious food.

Encouraged to bring low back chairs, blankets and small umbrellas.

MÅGI has rented the entire park for the Marianas Festival. Therefore, pavilions and other areas of the park, even if they are not being actively utilized by MÅGI, are not available for personal use, including potlucks, BBQs, or private gatherings. This is a community event, and we kindly ask that everyone be respectful of the space and its intended use during the festival. Si Yu’os Ma’åse for your understanding and cooperation!

Parking will be managed by our MANHITA family. Please look out for the Manhita parking team when you arrive—they will be there to help direct vehicles and keep traffic moving smoothly. We are incredibly grateful to Manhita for their partnership and continued support of Marianas Festival 2026!

Beer Garden

Age Restriction: Only individuals of the legal drinking age of 21 years old or older can enter the beer garden.

No Outside Alcohol: Customers are not allowed to bring their own alcohol into the beer garden. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the venue.

Responsible Drinking: Customers are expected to drink responsibly and not engage in excessive or disruptive behavior. Intoxicated individuals may be refused service or asked to leave.

No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in the beer garden to maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Respect for Others: Customers are expected to be respectful towards staff and other patrons. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or violence will not be tolerated.
Marianas Festival Sling Competition
Led by Roman Dela Cruz — Director of The Effect, Representative of Fokai Industries, and Spokesperson for ACHO Marianas — participants will have the opportunity to learn about the history, cultural significance, and modern revival of Mariana Islands slinging.
Step into one of the oldest traditions of the Marianas and help carry forward the legacy of the sling. Throughout the day, festival guests are invited to learn about the history, cultural significance, and continued practice of Mariana Islands slinging.
Activity Highlights

Hourly Sling Lessons will be offered throughout the day, making it easy for individuals and families to join in and learn the basics of this ancestral skill.

Large Group Instruction allows more participants to experience hands-on learning while building community around this important tradition.

Marianas Festival Sling Competition will take place all day, with scores tallied throughout the festival.

Each participant will complete one round consisting of five shots.

Participation is free, and no registration fee is required.
Whether you are trying slinging for the first time or continuing a tradition passed down through generations, this activity offers an opportunity to strengthen skills, share knowledge, and keep the conversation alive for future generations.
Marianas Festival Afterparty

After a full day of celebrating our culture, our people, our music, our food, and everything that makes our Marianas community so special, come wind down with us at Taplandia Taphouse for the Marianas Festival After Party!
Starting at 9 PM, Taplandia is opening its doors after hours so our community can have one more place to gather, laugh, enjoy some incredible talent, and simply be together.
If you were there last year, you know how special the night became. There’s something different about this intimate setting — up close, personal, and surrounded by our community. You definitely don’t want to miss this show!
And the best part? IT’S FREE.
No tickets. No cover. Just come!
