Island Roots, Rising Voices: Empowering Youth to Lead with Culture and Heart!
Håfa Adai Parents and Youth!

We are thrilled to launch our Island Roots, Rising Voices campaign, and we’re calling on the next generation of leaders to get involved in the Marianas Festival 2025! This is a fantastic opportunity for youth under the age of 15 to become champions of Chamorro culture and play a vital role in preserving and sharing our heritage.

We're empowering youth to lead with culture and heart—uplifting their voices, honoring their roots, and creating space for them to shine in our island story.

Why Get Involved?
As a youth volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:
-
Learn about Chamorro traditions, including the values of family, respect for elders, language, and community.

-
Deepen your connection to our culture and community, learning the importance of Inafa’maolek (interdependence) — working together and looking out for one another
In Return, You’ll Receive:
-
A FREE special youth t-shirt
-
The opportunity to be involved in youth activities
-
Be part of the Opening Ceremony Parade and experience the excitement of leading the way!
