Perks of Volunteering:

Networking Opportunities: As a volunteer at MÅGI, you’ll connect with cultural experts, artists, performers, organizers, and passionate community members from around the world. Each volunteer experience brings opportunities to build relationships that could lead to exciting collaborations or future opportunities. Volunteers commit a minimum of 4 hours, giving you plenty of time to engage and connect.

Knowledge and Exposure: Volunteering provides behind-the-scenes access to festival production. You’ll immerse yourself in cultural traditions, music, dance, and art, broadening your cultural horizons while gaining new experiences each year.

Skill Development: Volunteers gain hands-on experience in event coordination, logistics, hospitality, customer service, teamwork, and communication. Longer shifts allow for more responsibility and learning opportunities.

Sense of Fulfillment: Supporting local artists, preserving cultural traditions, and contributing to a festival that brings the community together gives a strong sense of purpose.

Freebies: We value your time and dedication! As a further gesture of appreciation, volunteers will receive the following based on total hours of service:

4-6 Hours: Certificate of Appreciation
