Chamorro Baila

Come experience the beauty of Chamorro baila in a warm, welcoming space where everyone truly belongs. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve danced before, you’re invited to come as you are and move with us.

Together, we’ll explore foundational dance steps while connecting more deeply through traditional song, rhythm, and chant. This is more than dance—it’s a celebration of identity, a way to honor our ancestors, and a chance to reconnect with culture through movement and community.

All levels are welcome—just bring your energy and an open heart.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and feel free to bring your own pareo, tapis, or lava lava wrap to fully embrace the experience.

Hita i Lengguahi-ta! A Chamorro Language Workshop

This interactive Chamorro language workshop brings together teens and adults who want to start, strengthen, or deepen their skills — from absolute beginners to fluent speakers. Through engaging activities, participants will build and practice basic sentences for everyday communication.

Be ready to explore strategies to push through common obstacles and keep progressing, including the habits and mindset needed for long-term growth. We will also clarify how fluent and emerging speakers can actively support language revitalization in the community.

Open to all ability levels, this standalone workshop will leave you with a resource booklet, high-impact learning strategies and a practical path forward to continue your learning beyond the session.

Marianas Minute Workshop — Starts This March!

This August, youth voices will take center stage—and it all begins now.

We’re kicking off Marianas Minute, a powerful storytelling initiative led by Brian Bautista, and we want YOU to be part of it.

At our March kickoff workshop, youth and volunteers will come together to create short, meaningful oral presentations that celebrate life, culture, and heritage in the Marianas. These Marianas Minutes will later be shared by youth throughout the August weekend—educating, inspiring, and honoring our community through story and voice.

Participants will:

Collaborate in small, creative groups

Share personal stories and explore cultural topics

Learn engaging storytelling techniques

Practice useful Chamorro phrases connected to community service and cultural pride

Take part in fun, interactive activities that build confidence and connection

This workshop is hands-on, empowering, and impactful. It’s about learning, leading, and being part of something bigger than yourself. Have a voice. Learn. Create. Inspire.

This workshop kicks everything off—don’t miss your chance to help shape what’s shared in August.

Youth and volunteers are strongly encouraged to sign up and attend!

Marianas Token

Step into a space where knowledge is shared, culture is lived, and community becomes currency.

This interactive workshop brings together creators, culture bearers, entrepreneurs, and everyday people to teach, learn, and grow together. Rooted in the strength of our Pacific Islander identity, we explore how our stories, traditions, and values can uplift not only our people—but our local businesses and future generations.

Come ready to:

  • Share your skills, experiences, and cultural knowledge

  • Learn from others across generations and industries

  • Build meaningful connections within our community

  • Discover ways to support and amplify small businesses

  • Explore how culture and commerce can work hand in hand

Through talk story, collaboration, and creative exchange, we honor where we come from while building something powerful for where we’re going.

Because when we invest in each other—
we strengthen our network,
we elevate our culture,
and we grow together.
